Toronto Foundation is seeking a seasoned professional who has built their career advancing social, cultural and/or environmental change. In this new role, the director, community impact is accountable for a diverse portfolio of programs that build knowledge, skills and relationships, and support equity-driven priorities in the community. The director must be equally comfortable presenting research to major donors as they are collaborating with grassroots organizations. We are looking for an ideas generator, program designer and team builder who can take the Foundation’s community impact work to the next level. The role oversees a small core team of staff and external service providers, and actively contributes to the broader senior management group at the Foundation. This leadership position requires an entrepreneurial mindset, the capacity to be nimble and responsive to opportunity, and an instinctive ability to marry strategic foresight and planning with implementation.
